Please note, if you need cover for a longer trip (between 43 and 90 days), you'll need to take out separate single trip cover.
Family trips
Once you've bought your insurance, you're sorted for 12 months. This makes annual cover ideal for families who want to fit in a range of getaways throughout the year.
You only need to let us know if anything changes (such as a new medical requirement).

Up to £5,000 if you need to cancel or change your holiday plans because of things like unexpected illness or unemployment. - Medical emergency

Insure your family together for ease. Add under-18s and they'll be covered when travelling with you or another adult insured on the same policy. They'll also be covered for trips organised by schools or recognised organisations if they're supervised by adults. - Delayed or missed departure
Up to £200 if your departure is delayed by more than 12 hours and up to £600 for missed departure (up to £200 for a UK-only trip). - Abandoned journey
Up to £5,000 if you have to abandon your outward journey after a delay of 12 hours. - Personal accident
If you're accidentally injured on your trip, we'll pay £10,000 for loss of sight or loss of limb, and this total increases to £25,000 if you can't work after 52 weeks. We'll pay £10,000 if the injury is the cause of your death (£1,500 if you're under 18). - Lost or stolen passport
Up to £500 for extra travel and accommodation costs while you arrange a replacement. - Disaster cover
If you can't stay at your accommodation due to a natural disaster we'll pay the necessary extra travel and accommodation expenses, up to £1,000.

If an airline or other travel provider has delayed your bags for more than 12 hours on your outward journey, we'll provide up to £200 for any essential personal belongings you need to buy.
What's not included in annual multi-trip travel insurance?
- Optional extras
For personal belongings or winter sports cover, you'll need to buy an optional extra. - Some UK trips
Trips within the UK must be for at least two consecutive nights and in pre-booked commercially-operated accommodation. - Non-UK residents
We won't pay for any claim unless you're a permanent resident of the UK, and registered with a UK doctor (a General Practitioner or GP). - One-way trips
One-ways trips will not be covered. Your trip must be a return journey starting and ending in the UK. - Undeclared pre-existing medical conditions
Let us know about any pre-existing medical conditions before you take out a travel insurance policy with us or you won't be covered. - Certain sports and activities
We won't pay for claims relating to certain sports and activities, or any sport or activity in certain situations.
Some winter sports will be covered if you've bought the Winter Sports add-on.

How does Annual Multi-trip work?
1. Booking a trip
Just as you buy plane or train tickets before you go, you'll need to buy your insurance before you travel too.
It doesn't matter if you buy your tickets or your insurance first, though.
2. Let us know who's travelling
When you buy your insurance, tell us the details for anyone you'd like to be a named traveller. All travellers must be under 75.
It's important to give us detailed information about any medical conditions for all named travellers, and contact us to update this information whenever it changes.
3. Check your policy before you travel
Just before you go, you'll need to make sure the cover is still suitable. Check details like how long you'll be away, any changes to medical conditions and what's the latest government advice for your planned destination.

4. If you need to make a claim
It's easy to claim online. You'll just need to tell us what happened.
