To get a quote, you'll need to know:

  1. By way of definition a van is a vehicle designed to carry goods and less than 4 passengers. The vehicle must weigh less than 3.5 tonnes GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight).

  2. We do not provide cover for any single-cab pick-ups.

  3. We may offer a telephone quotation for lifestyle/doublecab pick-ups (subject to the following terms & conditions: Lifestyle pickups - All drivers must be over 21 with a full UK/EU licence for at least 1 year. Minimum £150 excess. Business use is restricted to policyholder only. No manual occupations). Please contact us on 0845 246 3761.

  4. All drivers must be over 21 and have held a full UK/EU licence for at least 1 year.

  5. We do not offer quotations in a company name, the main driver must be the policyholder, the owner and registered keeper of the vehicle.

  6. If you select one of the following when obtaining your van insurance quotation the vehicle may only be used for Social, Domestic or Pleasure purposes: Motor Trade, Retired, Housewife / Househusband, Driver, Student and Unemployed. For all other occupations the vehicle may be used in connection with your business or those of your spouse, partner or civil partner (not business partner). If you require additional drivers to have business use or are uncertain about the type of use you require, please contact us on 0845 246 3761.

  7. Your business or the business of your employer is not in anyway connected with any of the following: the entertainment and fashion industry, professional sports, foreign service, foreign diplomatic personnel, mini-cab drivers or mini-cab controllers.

  8. Goods in transit and tools are not covered under this policy.
