What’s included
  • Medical emergency cover

    Get extra peace of mind with our medical emergency cover. Whether you’re away for a weekend break or a gap year, we’ll support you in a health emergency.

    • This includes:
    • Up to £10 million in medical expenses if you’re rushed into an overseas hospital
    • Up to £2,500 for a friend or partner to travel and stay with you while you undergo treatment – plus a daily allowance of £25 for phone calls, food and transport
    • Up to £2,500 for funeral expenses
    • Don’t forget:
    • You need to give us a call to declare any medical conditions. We may need to ask you a few simple questions about the health of all persons covered.
  • Children’s cover

    • When it comes to family holidays and school or college trips, we’re making sure your little ones are covered. This means we’ll cover any insured young person under 18 providing they’re travelling with an adult insured under the policy. This also includes organised school or college activities such as snorkelling, beach games and swimming supervised by adults.
  • Cancellation or cutting short your journey

    Cutting your journey short? Up to £5,000 paid if you need to cancel or change your holiday plans.

  • Personal accident

    You’ve had an accident – what now? Don’t worry. We’re here to get things done when you need it the most.

    • This includes:
    • Up to £10,000 per person if your injury is fatal or leads to total or permanent loss of sight or limb
    • Up to £25,000 if your accident was serious and you can’t work at all after two years from the day it happened because of this injury
  • Personal liability

    Up to £2 million per policy if you’re found to be legally liable for an incident that you caused during your journey that results in:

    • Physical injury or death
    • Accidental loss or damage to property
  • Lost or stolen passport

    Up to £500 for extra travel and accommodation costs while you arrange a replacement.

  • Legal assistance & costs

    We provide a 24‐hour helpline for practical UK legal advice in connection with your journey and for reporting a claim.


    What’s more, we’ll pay up to £50,000 for legal costs to help you claim damages or compensation for:

    • Injury, illness or death, which happens during your journey
    • A dispute about an agreement you have for your journey

    If you’re arrested or held abroad we’ll pay up to £250 for the first meeting that you arrange with a local solicitor.

  • Luggage tracking

    We’ll help you find your lost or missing luggage.

  • Disaster cover

    If, during your trip, you can no longer stay at your pre‐booked and prepaid accommodation because of:

    • Fire
    • Lightning
    • Explosion
    • Earthquake
    • Tidal wave
    • Storm
    • Avalanche
    • Hurricane
    • Flood
    • Medical epidemic or pandemic

    Then we’ll pay the necessary extra travel and accommodation expenses to allow you to continue with your trip, or return to the UK if you can’t continue with your plans.

    Keep in mind the most we’ll pay for each claim is £1,000.

  • Delayed personal belongings

    If an airline or other travel provider has delayed your bags for more than 12 hours, we’ll provide up to £200 for any essential personal belongings you need to buy.

  • Abandoned journey

    Up to £5,000 if you have to abandon your journey after 12 hours’ delay.

  • Delayed or missed departure

    Up to £200 per person if your departure is delayed and up to £600 for missed departure (up to £200 for a UK only trip).

Winter sports cover

If you go on a winter sports holiday, you can cover your skiing and snowboard gear for theft and damage by adding our winter sports cover to your travel insurance.

What’s not included
  • We won’t pay for any claim under this policy unless you’re a resident of the UK and aged 74 and under at the start of the policy.
Good to know:
  • Our Annual Multi‐trip Cover is designed for an unlimited number of trips of up to 42 days each over a 12‐month period.
  • Let us know about any pre-existing medical conditions before you take out a travel insurance policy with us or you won’t be covered.

  • We don’t place any age limit on our Single Trip Cover. However there’s a maximum trip duration of 42 days rather than 90 days if you’re aged 60 years or over.
  • Let us know about any pre-existing medical conditions before you take out a travel insurance policy with us or you may not be covered.

  • Let us know about any pre‐existing medical conditions before you take out a travel insurance policy with us or you may not be covered.
  • Your journey must last between three and 18 months depending on the geographical area.
