  Prize draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The Promoter is Direct Line Insurance plc, registered office address, Direct Line House, 3 Edridge Road, Croydon, CR9 1AG.

  2. By participating in this prize draw you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions.

  3. Prize draw open to customers and non-customers aged 18 or over who are UK residents. Draw is not open to employees and agencies of Warner Bros. Pictures or employees of RBS Group Companies, their families or anyone associated with this draw. Proof of eligibility must be provided on request.

  4. No purchase or quotation necessary. You can also send your full name, address and telephone number on a postcard to Direct Line Insurance, Cats and Dogs prize draw, RBS Insurance, Phase 2, 3rd Floor, Churchill Court, Mailpoint 65, Westmoreland Road, Bromley, BR1 1DP.

  5. Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered or illegible, will be disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed or damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of entry.

  6. Anybody who obtains a Direct Line pet insurance quote from www.directline.com between 19/07/2010 and 15/08/2010 will be automatically entered into the draw.  In the event that you do not wish to be entered into the prize draw you must call the promoter on 0845 246 8947 on obtaining your quote. One entry per person, per household. Entries are non-returnable.

  7. Promotion runs from 19/07/2010 and all entries must be received by midnight on 15/08/2010 at the latest.

  8. Prize winners will be drawn at random and awarded prizes in the order in which they are drawn as follows.

  9. The first prize is one prize of a fantastic family trip to LA for two adults and two children under 12 years-old. The package includes return flights from London to Los Angeles, transfers from the airport in LA to the hotel, 4 nights’ accommodation, (based on 2 adults and children under the age of 12 sharing one room), a VIP tour of the Warner Bros Studios (there is a minimum age for the Warner Bros tour of 8 years-old), travel insurance is included. Dates of travel are between November and Mid December 2010 and between January and April 2011, excluding national holidays. Winners are responsible for all passports and visas where applicable. Winners must register online with the US immigration ESTA scheme. The hotel will require a credit card for incidentals.

  10. The second prize is a single private screening of Cats & Dogs the Revenge of Kitty Galore at the winner’s local cinema (subject to times and availability) for one winner and up to 30 guests.

  11. Runners-up can get one of 400 great prizes including copies of Cats & Dogs on DVD, a Cats & Dogs the Revenge of Kitty Galore kids t-shirt (‘Dogs Rule’), a Cats & Dogs the Revenge of Kitty Galore kids t-shirt (‘Cats Rule’), a ‘Cat’ plush toy, a ‘Dog’ plush toy, Cats & Dogs The Revenge of Kitty Galore Spy Kits and Cats & Dogs The Revenge of Kitty Galore branded Mini Flyers.

  12. The promoter’s decision shall be final. Neither correspondence nor discussion concerning any decision shall be entered into.

  13. All prizes are subject to availability and if the prizes stated are unavailable a suitable replacement will be chosen which is of the same value.

  14. The Winners will be notified in writing / by phone / by email within 60 days of the closing date when information about the winners will be available by sending an SAE to “Cats & Dogs 2 Winner List” at the address given in condition 4 above.

  15. None of the prizes may be exchanged or transferred and no cash alternatives will be offered. If the prize stated is unavailable, an alternative of the same value will be supplied.

  16. Winners must cooperate fully for publicity purposes if so required by Direct Line. The winners agree to take part in publicity in connection with this prize draw.

  17. If a prize remains unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner the promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.

  18. The promoter reserves the right to alter, amend or foreclose the promotion without prior notice.
