Why consider additional borrowing?
If your mortgage is with Direct Line, you can borrow more for home improvements or almost any other purpose.
- Borrow at mortgage rates – our additional borrowing rates could be a great alternative to other loans.
- Borrow what you need – minimum borrowing of £1,000
- Choose the term – repay over your agreed mortgage term or sooner
- Overpay if you want – overpay up to 10% of your outstanding balance each year, with no early repayment charge
If your monthly credit card or loan payments are high, you might reduce your monthly outgoings by clearing them with some additional borrowing. Remember, your borrowing is secured against your property and if you pay it back over a longer term the amount you repay may be higher.
